My grandmother had the most awful experience at the first nursing home she was at after getting diagnosed for Alzheimers.
In my worst nightmares I never imagined I’d have to deal with Elder Abuse And Neglect, but that’s how it goes.
Thankfully, we discovered the problem in time and got her moved. I can’t imagine what might have happened otherwise.

But if you have got your electric wheelchair from a voluntary organization, then you would do better to find out a place beforehand where you can get them immediately if the need arises.
