2008 is flying by. I can't believe August 1 is a week from today. Summer will over before I know it and the Christmas displays will soon be up in all the malls. Flying a small aircraft has always been a great way to spend a weekend. I have two buddies of mine that actually make the weekend day trip a routine. Every weekend they take their Cessna 172 to a airport near a golf course and experience the pleasure of flying and golfing. The last trip they made was from Buffalo to a tiny airport along the Ohio River. The flew in, had some lunch, played eighteen holes, and back to Buffalo on a Sunday afternoon. People are always willing to give them a ride to the golf course and they always manage to find a lift back to the airport. One of them pilots over, and the other one pilots the plane back home.
